Lands Department

Land Use Inspections

KIA Land Administration has the right to inspect the site of your operations to ensure that all terms and conditions of the license, lease, etc., are being met.

At least one inspection per year is required and a final inspection at the demobilization of the project may be necessary.

The land user must bear the costs of these inspections, but KIA Lands make every effort to keep costs to a minimum.

If any condition of the license or lease, etc., is not being met, the land user will be informed verbally and in writing. In addition, the Land Use Inspector will make suggestions as to how to remedy the situation. If the land user continues to violate the terms of the license further remedial measures will be taken, which may include removal from the land.
