About the Planning & Implementation Department

The Department of Planning & Implementation was created mainly to ensure that Inuit Impact and Benefit Agreements (IIBA's) were being properly negotiated and implemented. As well, the P & I department has responsibilities in strategic planning for the organization and dealing with the many long-term goals for Kivalliq Inuit such as training and employment. The Department of Planning & Implementation has a Director, a Sr. Implementation Officer, an Implementation Officer and a Meadowbank IIBA Coordinator.
