December 8, 2020 – The Kivalliq Inuit Association (KivIA) is pleased to announce its second phase of COVID-19 funding roll out plan from the additional funds it received from the Indigenous Communities Support Fund. The KivIA has formed a partnership with the Arctic Co-operatives Limited to provide gift cards to every Inuit household in the region. The details of this plan and when this will be made available will be determined after we consult with Public Health officials with the Government of Nunavut with community specific plans in place.
