Kivalliq Community Cultural Initiatives Program (KCCIP)

Kivalliq Inuit Association has funding available for grants and contributions to support community based initiatives that foster and enhance Inuit traditional skills and activities as well as promoting or maintaining the Inuit language.

Kivalliq Community Cultural Initiatives Program: 

This program was designed to provide support for community-based initiatives that foster and enhance Inuit traditional skills and activities as well as promoting and/or maintaining the Inuit language. This provides Kivalliq beneficiaries with an opportunity to run community based programs, organized for and operated by its community members, with a maximum limit per application of $5,000. In 2023, approximately 12 programs were approved and completed, totalling $60,000.
