RANKIN INLET, NU – January 29, 2021 – The Kivalliq Inuit Association (KivIA) has reprofiled support funding from the Indigenous Services fund from the Federal Government and through Nunavut Tunngavik Inc to provide an additional $660,000 to the Hamlet of Arviat.

The Kivalliq Inuit Association is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the provision of services by a Proponent or Contractor for the Position of (Chief) Returning Officer (CRO) for the Kivalliq Inuit Association (referred to in this RFP as “KIA”).

December 8, 2020 – The Kivalliq Inuit Association (KivIA) is pleased to announce its second phase of COVID-19 funding roll out plan from the additional funds it received from the Indigenous Communities Support Fund. The KivIA has formed a partnership with the Arctic Co-operatives Limited to provide gift cards to every Inuit household in the region.
